Joseph Rebh - Owner
Joseph (Joe) Rebh grew up in southeast Michigan. Joe comes from a family of home builders. Both his father and grandfather were avid home builders. He began learning the meaning of hard work from the time he was a little boy. At a very young age, he begged to accompany his father on the job site and he was fascinated by watching the framing process. At the age of 14, he began working full-time for his brother-in-law’s framing company while he attended high school. In 2008, he opened the doors to his own framing business and, to date, has constructed over 400 custom homes. He went on to obtain his Michigan Home Builder’s License specializing in custom built homes. Joe has a passion for taking his clients’ vision and turning it into a dream come true. He isn’t just building a house; he’s building a home where they will be cherishing family memories for years to come.
In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time outside, especially hunting Up North and golfing on a local league. Joe resides in southeast Michigan with his wife, Michelle, and their two children.
Brett Ramsay - Owner
Brett Ramsay was born and raised in southeast Michigan. He attended the Farmington Public School District, and in his junior year of high school, he started his apprenticeship working for a brick block masonry company. By the age of 22, he was running his own crew, and by the age of 25, started his own company. Brett has been running a successful masonry business since 2010. That same year, he became a partner in a commercial snow removal business which services all of southeast Michigan. In 2020, Brett created Great Lakes Greens, a company specializing in synthetic backyard putting greens. Brett’s extensive knowledge and experience in the construction field only comes second to his passion for servicing his customers’ needs and understanding what it takes to run a successful business.
In his free time, you will find Brett on a golf course, on a lake fishing or in the woods hunting with his Dad. Brett resides in southeast Michigan with his wife, Alex.
Joe and Brett met as freshman in high school and have been friends for 25 years. In 2018, they founded Elkwood Homes and have been building semi-custom and custom homes ever since. Together they have over 45 years of building experience..
